Fall/Winter 2015 “Modern Past”

As traditional knowledge meets contemporary design, current aesthetics and classical craftsmanship are combined this season to form a new sartorial language that strives to make it new.

The methodology of this season is all about reinterpreting tradition through new eyes to create fresh possibilities. The collection features long-sleeve jumpers, shift dresses, loose-cut coats and tailored trousers. Basic forms are renewed with cropped cuts, pleated collar and sleeve accents, unexpected folds, and pocket details.

The use of fabric favours staple woollens of the season, with an attention on textures, patterns, and colours. Solids are contrasted with distressed knits, and tones are explored in patchwork to create simple yet interesting pieces.

The primary palette of dark grey and black is punctuated with select pieces of pastels to brighten up the chill of the season.
